Before we begin, a note

My relatives say that they are glad that I'm rich, but that they simply cannot read me.        — Kurt Vonnegut, Jr. As I once told a co-worker: Writing is harad. That's because I'm a terrible typist and meant to type "writing is hard." But why is it hard? Is it because writers are perfectionists? Is it because we have lofty expectations? Is it because we cripple ourselves with the fear of getting lost in our own heads? Or is it because having an original idea that excites us gets lost among the desire to be published? I can't help you answer any of those questions. What I hope to do, however, is provide prompts and conversation starters that push your boundaries (and perhaps the bounds of good taste). In addition, my goal is for this to be a community that enriches your experience with writing. Here are the rules: Absolutely everything that you share or post must be original work.  Nothing that gets posted here gets shared without the original aut
